Mr. Olsson has been at the forefront of advancing low carbon biofuels and pioneering sustainable energy solutions.
He’s also the Chairman of the India SAF Alliance that is promoting Sustainable Aviation Fuel in India and the Chairman and Managing Director of ZR2 Bioenergy Ltd. and he has played a pivotal role in shaping policies and driving innovation in the renewable energy sector. His commitment to building a greener future is reflected in ZR2’s mission and Circular World, that is transforming the farm to fuel economy by turning bioenergy into high quality food protein and low carbon biofuels all while combating malnutrition, removing waste and reduce emissions.
Mr. Nilesh Jayant Jain, a distinguished Chemical Engineer and Management Masters from Wharton, USA, brings over 35 years of entrepreneurial expertise in sustainable development, particularly in the plastic, recycling, chemical and mechanical management. His deep understanding of circular economy principles and commitment to environmental sustainability have been instrumental in driving innovative solutions for waste reduction and resource optimization.
As a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director at ZR2, Mr. Jain plays a key role in guiding strategic decisions that align with the company’s vision for a cleaner, greener future. His leadership in sustainability and business development continues to contribute to impactful advancements in the renewable energy and bioeconomy sectors.
Ms. Nirupama Charuhas Khandke is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years of expertise in the agri commodity sector, specializing in warehousing, collateral management, risk management and agri financing. As the Promoter and Managing Director of CNX Corporation Limited and CNX Industries Private Limited, she has pioneered innovative solutions in commodity trading and financing, working closely with leading banks to unlock value in priority sector lending and agri funding. Over the years, she has unlocked tremendous value & Opportunities for Banks to explore Receipt based finance, priority sector lending, agri funding and credit policies and assists in liquidating commodities of Non performing Accounts.
An advocate for technological transformation in agri logistics, she has been instrumental in transitioning commodity markets to digital platforms, providing real time market intelligence and financial inclusion for farmers. Actively involved in policy making, she contributes to the Warehouse Development & Regulation Authority (WDRA) under the Ministry of Agriculture. Beyond her business ventures, Nirupama has made significant social contributions through her Rotary Club, where she has led numerous impactful community projects. Mr. Sunil Kalhapure is an accomplished leader with over 34 years of experience in educational project planning, infrastructure development and institutional management. His expertise spans project execution, procurement and maintenance, with a strong focus on sustainable growth and digital transformation in the education sector.
With a background as an Electronics Engineer, he brings extensive experience in automation and has been trained in Factory Automation at Unipektin AG, a Swiss company. His expertise also includes software development and deployment, having served as Project Director at Zensar, Pune, in a leading multinational software firm.
As an Independent Director at ZR2 Bioenergy, he brings strategic insight into planning and development, contributing to the company’s mission of rural empowerment and sustainable energy solutions. He also serves as the Director at Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation, Ahmednagar, overseeing a 200 acre integrated campus. His past leadership roles include key positions at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, MIT Pune and various engineering and medical institutions, where he successfully led large scale infrastructure expansion and academic administration. His wealth of experience plays a crucial role in driving ZR2’s vision of innovation and rural transformation.
Mr. Mahendra Agarwal is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant with over four decades of expertise in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held key financial leadership roles in renowned industrial conglomerates, including Mahindra & Mahindra, Piramal Group and Usha Martin Group. His deep financial acumen and strategic insights have played a crucial role in driving growth, optimizing capital structures and enhancing financial sustainability.
As the CFO of ZR2, Mr. Agarwal brings unparalleled experience in financial planning, risk management and investment strategies. His leadership ensures strong fiscal governance, enabling the company to scale its operations while maintaining financial resilience in the evolving bioenergy sector.
